Argh! No pounds lost this week.

But I did lose inches. ?2 off my waist and one off my hips. WoooHooo. I was upset when I got off the scale….but the smile was brought back when I measured myself.

I Did Not Stray

I’m so proud of myself. I do WW points and I stayed on point today. The reason it’s such a big deal is this.

My daughter’s entire school went on a field trip to Johns Incredible Pizza Co today. They needed parent volunteers to go and I went. Boy did I want to eat. It costs 6.49(adults) to get in and it includes an all you can eat buffet. Now I love, love, love, pizza and pasta. And boy they had some yummy choices. Well I ate a vege salad which is 0 points and 1 slice of cheese pizza…that’s 4. I really wanted the alfredo pizza….but that’s not until I’m at goal. I packed a sandwich(5pts) just in case. So…….I’m proud of myself for staying OP. Plus the games and rides kept my mind off of food. Even though when it was time to leave my daughter grabbed some ice cream and I wanted the mini donuts so bad.

Well I had my dinner and I’m saving my last 5pts for after bible study. I’ll have my dessert finally. It’s a WW cookie n cream ice cream bar(2pts) and almonds.

Need some ideas for lunch…..

It’s only 11:38am here in Ca. and it’s time for me to eat. Any ideas on a good lunch? I really don’t know what I want to eat.

My calories vary day to day and I save my highest calorie day for Saturdays. I have not weighed myself since 03/13 (last day of my detox)….but let me tell you my size 14’s are loose. I swear by this. It works great for those of you who have hit a plateau as well.

New week…….new points

This week (for those on Weight Watchers you’ll understand this chart) I’ll be following the chart below for eating my points. It’s based on the Wendie Plan. By the way……I now have a new point range.

? Day 2 - 29 points
? Day 3 - 25 points
? Day 4 - 39 points Super High Day (SHD)

I will let you know how it goes. From what I here….it works great. Especially for those stuck in a plateaus. I’ve already lost more inches than pounds……but I also want the pounds to “bounce”

I weigh myself every Thursday. So we’ll see how it goes. I was thinking I shouldn’t weigh myself till Sunday…..but I’ll have to see how I feel by Thursday.

My friend told me today about the small variety bags of baked chips. She said they’re usually in the range between 2-5 points. So I’ll check those out. Cause sometimes I crave something salty. Which is very rare.

Grilled white meat chicken strips with spinach,mushrooms,roasted red peppers, three cheeses and a cheese sauce on italian bread.

What’s cool…is that they have the points on every container for you. So there’s no guess work necessary. I had a hostess 100 calorie pack for dessert..2 points. So overall my dinner was only 7 points.

My overall point total allowed a day is 27. I don’t use my extra 35 points till Saturday. Gonna go to Baja Fresh.

I snack on my almonds and carrots which kept me pretty full throughout the day. I’m now putting lemon in my water cause I hear it’s good for you.

Walked for an hour…which is pretty good since I hate exercise. But..I’m taking a page from Babe and I’m upping my exercise time. So I guess I’ll do an hour of walking tomorrow then do the Lotte Berk Method.

I’m done!

Hey buddies……..for those that were rooting for me…..I’m done. No more detoxing. All the gunk that was going to come out better be out. Like I said before……I miss food. So first thing in the morning I’m having some banana oatmeal and my beloved carrot juice.

 I have a few errands to run….but I will definitely have my almonds and water with me. I usually drink about 1/2 to 3/4 of a gallon of water a day and snack on almonds and/or carrots all day. I don’t know what I want for lunch…..we’ll see when tomorrow comes.

Detoxing…….

I’m on day 3 of my detox and one thing for sure is…….”I Miss Food!”  I miss crunching and munching. I miss my dear beloved carrot juice and spaghetti squash.

But one thing for sure…….it’s working. I’m passing things I’d rather not say. I’ll just say….I’m going to the bathroom 4-6 times a day. I have tons of energy. One thing for sure…….we can all use a good cleaning out once a year.

Well I’ll be back on point next week. I can’t wait. I miss my WW.

New workout tape and tapping.

Well I just bought a new workout tape called The Lotte Berk Method. A couple of friends recommended it. They all gave it rave reviews. I’ll let you know if I like it.

Now about tapping. It’s called Thought Field Therapy. It’s suppose to re-program your mind by tapping certain parts on your body. ?Sounds a bit hokey to me. Well before I pass more judgement….has anyone tried this? It’s suppose to be good for weight loss.?What do you all think about this? Do you think it’s as easy as tapping??
