Ok……I posted a before picture.

I know, I know……my face is cut off. lol  When I post my after you will see me…..face and all.

In the before picture I was 205 in a size 16/18. I had to start losing weight cause the dr. told me my cholesterol and blood pressure was getting high. So……it was time for me to get off my big butt and stop doing hand to mouth exercises. lol

After both of my children….I was an 8. Boy the weight sure does find a way to creep up on ya. Anyway……..looking at other’s success and reading many blogs….it’s nice to be somewhere where you can find support and encouragement.  You all inspire me to keep moving. I may not comment a lot or blog a lot…..but I’m still thinking of you all and sticking to my goal.

I cheated……..

And it was good. :)

Saturday night and all day Sunday I ate everything I wanted. Sunday my daughter Alexis turned 13. So she wanted to go to John’s Incredible Pizza Co. Well I was looking forward to this all week. They have a buffet and I knew exactly what I wanted to eat. I had 2 of all my faves. Cake, pizza, pasta, fruit, ice cream, and punch. Boy I was a happy camper. Then I came home and had a plate of macaroni and cheese. :)

Now I wasn’t going to weigh myself till next week…..but I didn’t feel heavy or bloated so I decided to get on the scale this morning. To my surprise I only gained 2lbs. I’m hoping it’s just water weight. We’ll see cause I’m back on program today. :(  At least I know…..I can still have a cheat day without gaining too much.

Boy I can’t wait till the 4th of July. lol :D

Sample Kimkins Menu

This was taken from Woman’s World magazine. On all…..choose only one from each category daily. Drink 8-10 glasses of water daily.

B=Breakfast    L=Lunch   D=Drink   S=Snack

B - 2 eggs, 1/4c salsa, 3oz lean ham

- In blender mix 1 scoop whey protein poweder, 4oz low carb vanilla yogurt 8 oz. diet soda and 4 ice cubes

L - 2c low carb soup, 1c steamed broccoli, 2Tbs lite dip

- 3oz lean deli sliced turkey rolled in 3 romaine lettuce leaves with 1/2c red bell pepper sticks and 2Tbs lite ranch dressing, 1 boiled egg.

- 3oz chicken, turkey or tuna, 1c mixed baby greens, baby spinach or coleslaw veggies, 2 slices crumbled turkey bacon (optional) and 2Tbs lite dressing.

D - 4oz grilled shrimp, drizzle of low cal dressing, 1c raw baby spinach, 1/2c veggies, 2Tbs lite dressing.

- 4oz chicken or lean pork, fajita seasoning or spice blend, 1/2c sauteed veggies, such as bell pepper and onion, 1c romaine lettuce, 2Tbs lite dressing.

- 3oz turkey burger, 2Tbs lite mayo, 1/2c grilled veggies, 1c steamed spinach, lemon juice.

If you google Kimkins…….you will a tons of sites with kimkins information. The WOE (way of eating) on Kimkins is basically….lean protein & low carb vegetables. Your daily carbs should not exceed 20 grams.

I went to the dentist for my 6mo. cleaning and the DA looked at me in shock.

Well when I walked in I still had on my prescription shades. So when I got to the desk…she said….you look familiar can you take your shades off? I was like….oh I still have these on….let me put on my glasses. Then she screamed……….

“Oh my gosh……….Tasha you look great. You lost weight.”

Let me tell you……..I had a smile from here to China. That was the most exciting feeling. She wanted to know what I was doing and so on and so forth. So I told her everything.

It’ nice to have people tell you you lost weight…than having to ask people does it look like I lost weight. When someone tells you without you asking…….you know you’re doing something right.

On another note……….I dropped that 1200 calorie diet. That is absolutely too low for me. My maintenace calories is much higher. I just subtract 500 cals from that and zig zag the calories and the fat melts away. So I guess I’ll stick to what works. I like food and 1200 a day is not getting it.

Unbiased Review

Well BuddySlimmers…………it’s been one full week doing Power90?. I want to tell you how I feel about it. No I don’t work for Beachbody.com or Tony. And they haven’t given many any goodies to be biased. So with that said……..here’s how I feel about P90.

I Love It!!!!!!!!!!!

If you’re like me……….don’t like working out, haven’t worked out in ages, can’t keep up with those fit instructors, and get burned out real easy…………then you will like this.

P90 is low impact and I love how you can go at your own pace. There is even a countdown clock on the screen that keep you motivated. The only equipment you need is a resistance band or light weights. Most of the workouts are done using your own body weight.

After only 2 workouts………I had muscles hurting that I never knew I had. I have tons of workout tapes and none of them made me feel like I have worked so hard as P90 has. The cool thing is that I actually got through the whole thing. That’s a first for me. You think….this is slow, how is this going to work? But let me tell you…..it does. I use a resistance band. That thing is no joke. By the end of my workout…….I’m sweating like I’ve been running a marathon.

Overall……..great workout program. I highly recommend it. Hubby has now jumped on the band wagon.

To say hi. Not much to report.

I have started Power90? so after a week of doing it I will get back with you to say how it’s going. So far I like it. On June 14th I’ll post before and after pictures. That will be my 30 day mark. I’ll post a new picture every 30 days. After 90 days……..we’ll see just how good this P90 really is.
